Somewhere better for an ideal, value for money holiday?

Where?

No chance.... love Crete and Greece/Turkey in particular but even with all the negative comments/credit crunch talk...I had my best holiday in 20 years this year in Icmeler.

Tell me somewhere better for the money...?

Got to agree ,been about a bit myself but Icmeler did it for me ,nothing stands out really just the whole picture - unhurried peaceful scenic and reasonably price etc etc etc .Hope to go back soon and discover a wider area around Icmeler .

Icmeler for the first time this year was probably my favourite destination.Sidari in Corfu runs it a close second though.The Canal d'Amour area was very pleasant.

know just what you mean about that area near Sidari, Scarisbrick
only draw back was the midges.........absolutely LOADS of them though it didn't help that I kept forgetting to put on the repellant before we went out ha ha
it was great too being able to sunbathe until 20.00!!!
it came a close second to Icmeler for us, very close that is but Icmeler's still the place for us
