honeymoon

Postby adio » 18 May 2006 09:06

Hello ,

I want to come in Icmeler in july in my honeymoon at Idas Hotel and I need more information, personal experience, if someone has. I read all about this hotel on the internet, but this is my honeymoon and I want to be a special holiday.

Thank you

Idas Hotel

Postby Laura » 26 May 2006 12:45

Hi,
I have just returned from the Idas Hotel (pronounced EEE-Dash). It is fine, certainly far nicer than many of the ones we saw in Marmaris. The rooms are basic, but adequately cleaned (you have to ask for the remote control for your air conditioning and television at reception). The staff are friendly, the pool is a decent size and the food is edible. A lot of people complained about the food but it was bearable, they were the people who expected bacon butties with brown sauce!
The drinks they pour there are strong too, so be careful.
The food is served buffet style, which is not as nice as going out to a restaurant.
If you want to ask anything else, please just drop me a line. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, can't wait to go back, but now I know the area I would go with the freedom that an apartment offers.
Enjoy your honeymoon :-)

Make sure you pop over the road at the back of the hotel and up the road to Oscar's Pop In Restaurant. Tell them I sent you!! :-)

Also, if you are going AI you get a wristband and that means that you can use all the facilities at the Metropol Hotel over the road. One night a week they have a Turkish Night with traditional dancing and then some break dancing which was absolutely fantastic!
