Postby Jozzyd » 26 Oct 2008 11:35

Ok it's only earplugs for poor Megan who suffers on the plane (she is only 6). Just curious if anyone else has bought anything yet

If lira counts we bought ours before we came home last week, in case it comes down again, so we could have a start in May. Also bought sun cream in Tesco when it was 80p per bottle at the end of August.

Hi all,
I brought a new pair of sunglasses yesterday for our hoilday in May...Its not booked yet but should be shortly. They were reduced from £10.00 to £3.00 & i loved them on 1st sight..so had to buy them. As some of you have mentioned shower gel, the original source lemon shower gel is one of my holiday essentials...superdrug do the little travel bottles for 99p & if you go for a week that is all i need as the soft water in turkey makes it foam so much more than at home so only a little is required & uses up less weight in your suitcase. just thought I'd pass that information on...

Why take toiletries to Icmeler save on luggage weight and buy them in Icmeler for much the same price.

i like the original source shower gel in lemon or lavender as it helps with the mozzi's.....

plus, i like getting bits and bobs as the holiday gets closer.....

it would be horrible to have to go shopping as soon as we arrived to get essentials....but i only take limited amounts and just get it from tansas as we run out

I bought a lovely coral skirt for £3, it is ex M&S and will be lovely for next year.
It's funny but everytime I go clothes shopping my mind keeps asking 'Can I wear this in Icmeler'
I think I must be really sad :?

hi again all,

just thought I'd add a holiday shopping update...

went to Tesco last night & picked up a couple of bottles of original source shower gel in Lime as they were on offer. they didn't have any Lemon & have since decided that Lime is nicer & fresher than Lemon. As there are 3 of us going for 2 weeks a big bottle will do all of us...so that's sunglasses & shower gel off of the holiday shopping list....still not booked yet but should have by end of next week....am started to get excited already....

Went to Australia last October to visit my mum. By the time we arrived home our suitcases were bashed and broken. The wheelchair did not arrive until three days later (it had been left in Bangkok).

Just bought one new Suitcase in preparation for next year's holiday back to Icmeler.

Will have to get another when I see one I like.

Counting down - 50 weeks to go

The tickets for May :D e mailed to us as soon as we booked. Took me a while to grasp the new concept but it is satisfying to know it's confirmed immediately. I won't print them off till 2 weeks before I go though, just so I still get that "tickets have arrived!" euphoric feeling  I've also bought a slimming world magazine, in preparation for the winter diet in readiness for next holiday. Again!
