Just re-joined the forum, we went to Icmeler 2 years ago and had the best holiday ever. Due to circumstances we have not been able to get back, yet look at the website daily. We have now booked for two weeks next year, yet are a little worried reading so many negatives about Icmeler at the moment :? , can someone please assure me we have made the right decision and it will still feel as special as it did 2 years ago. Counting the weeks already.

icmeler for a holiday?

Postby archieb » 17 Oct 2008 14:18

I would say you have absolutely made the right choice, we have been going to Icmeler for years now and still love it, the people, the food, etc etc..i can honestly say we have had absolutely no problems whatsoever apart from the "grape man" trying to rip us off (see Grape Man thread), to be honest i would say things have gotten better, we have a 16 year old daughter and she does not feel as intimidated as she did when we first visited. We have stayed in 5* accomodation and self catering and had no problems at all..hope this reassures you...have a lovely time..jacqui :D :D

Wilts there is nothing wrong here so all I can think is maybe someone locked it by mistake.

Carry on by all means

where ever you go, there will usually be good and bad.....this year we went in july and sept, and i much preffered sept, but it hasnt stopped me booking for next july, when the children brake up from school.......

i dont like the boom boom bars, so avoid them, when the waiters talk to you to try and get you to eat there, have to say, i chat to anyone, but sometimes do say no thankyou and walk away.....like the man at the "baron" restaurant, told him i would never eat there, as he was rude, and i was sick of his shouting across the road........he apologised and didnt do it again......

you will have a lovely time.............
