Hi Kirky

we do that but what happens when you have a flight delay the voucher you get does not even cover the price of a drink as we found out last year with a 9hr delay

just do what we do sw........take supplies, just in case!
if you stock up before you leave Icmeler - a few Efes, water & butties, you'll be sorted for delays or the flight home!

I seem to recall there was a petition at one time, but that was before they built the new airport buildings and it doesn't seem to have made any difference

We always take a few bits to snack on and certainly bottles of water to drink, at the airport. This year we had a five and a half hour delay - we were given vouchers to get a bagette and drink - I don't think that's too bad.

These establishments are privatised therefore the govt would not be able to do anything about the prices so I suggest the petition would not be the way however as its mentioned before, the best way to go about it is. Have a piece of paper and pass it on to the management of the certain business at the airport saying, will not shop from here because its very expensive. If hundreds done this and really did not shop, then its the law of economics that the prices will eventually come down. just and idea:) If you do it, being a regular user of dalaman, i will also start doing it and take a piece of paper with me to pass it on to the cafe or bar management at the airport, each time i pass by..

Cheers,
Rami

Think that is a great idea, we always take loads of food and water just in case but in future will also do as you suggest and pass the notes to the shops in the airport. Good thinking bo bo.
