big glass building

hi there anyone who has been a boat trip might of seen it. as you come out of icmeler ont he boat has anyone seen a big massive glass building jsut built up in the middle of no were. does anyone no what it is or anything about it. just being nosey

Not sure where you mean??
Which direction are you going ,Turunc or Marmaris? and how far.
If it is on the way to Turunc,about half a mile away, in its own bay
Its a near built hotel [the big white elliphant] thats been ongoing for years.
There are a few stories doing the rounds, about it never being worked on, or being finished,
No one knows! but numourous thoughts put forward, it keeps cropping up every now and then, there have been other previous posts about it
I am out on the 26th and going to "attempt" to get a proper story!!!!
Its one of Icmelers well known misteries!

I know the one you mean. It just before you get to turunc bay. We were talking to Mr Kurt about it, he said it was supposed to be a luxury hotel. But they ran out of money and also had trouble with the council over getting access roads being builed to it.

thats so a shame that would of been a lovely hotel set back on its own.

RE the "White Eliphant"
Ive tried to count the rooms in there and a rough estimate there must be over a 1000.
I think the problem for them now is where are all these customers going to come from, I think that, thats also why they have give up for the forseeable future.

I think it would of been really nice, but bit to sercluded for me though. How would you get to Turunc from there as there doesn't seem to be any roads near to it as such.

we were told off a captain on the boat that 2 brothers borrowed millions off the bank only spent a few million on it then left the country and it can't be touched as it is evidence
