All Inclusive

Postby Eatock08 » 10 Sep 2008 19:37

Hi everyone

Does anyone know if there are any 24hr all inclusive hotels in Icmeler or do they all finish at midnight? My mother is asking but I don't know why she prefers B&B!!!!

I have never heard of any AI Hotels being 24 hours, ususally they close at Midnight.

Bearing in mind, its about 8 years since I last went AI.

Most are midnight. We would definately NOT reccomend AI. We stayed at the marti la perla a couple of weeks ago and the food was that bad, we ate out most of the time. we will be booking B&B for next year. Cos the restaurants are so lovely.

I personally prefer Self Catering, I take a few tea bags and coffee for a morning drink. Tea with some fresh Turkish bread and Jam on the balcony makes a lovely start to the day.

Each to their own but i have also heard that AI can be a bit ropey, i.e poor food and the menu is constantly repeated.

I agree with you reesy1959, nothing better than a coffee, turkish bread and jam in the morning. :) :)

A Turkish friend of ours commented on AI this year, and this is what he said "AI food provided by these hotels are hospital quality food - second grade" That says it all. Give me self catering everytime. As previously said on the forum the food in the restaurants are fantastic in Icmeler.

Just a warning to those thinking of going AI in Icmeler

I took batchellors pasta and sauce with me this year. It doesn't take much space up in the case and doesn't weigh much. It's easy and quick to make and it's lovely with turkish bread.

We went AI at the Marmaris Park and the bar didn't close till 1AM . The food was brilliant. Always a variety.
