using visa for a second time?????

Postby andyceri » 03 Sep 2008 20:45

Hi everyone, just wondering if we will need to do anything special when we get back to dalaman?? Been home 5 days OH so depressed we have just booked up to go back again in 6 weeks!!! Had a great 2 weeks as usual shame about ER but still cheaper than home, so we are going back for one more week Back to amalia and blondies and the garden. Any advice would be greatly recieved and any ideas on mid OCT temps too??

cheers andy

Andy, your visa will last for 90 days from the day you first arrive in Turkey, so you wont have to renew your visa as long as you return home within 90 days of issue.

Temps in mid Oct can be warm enough to sun-bathe during the day, some evenings you may need a light jacket or cardigan, and you could see an odd thunderstorm or two, but these are really spectacular and clear up as quickly as they come.

Its my favourite time in Turkey.

Just bypass the queue to pay your £10 and go through to the next set of booths to get you passport stamped

Ohhh the thunderstorms are worth watching! We saw a spectacular one in July, unfortunately it caused a mountain fire...but it was very different to watch than a storm in the UK.
I must also add that the speed of the helicopters to put out that fire was very commendable!
The visa stuff has been said already, though I would like to add make sure you highlight to passport control that you've already got a visa. Last year they tried to charge us twice until we pointed it out :) just saves time.
