Hi all,
Loved Cafe Rose - fastastic food in great surroundings with quiet background music to finnish it all off - excellent atmosphere.

My Dad asked Rose if it was ok to bring the cake as an anniversary surprise but Rose surprised us all by buying balloons and decorating the area around our table for our anniversary - looked great.

Cheers John

Hi John

Hubby and I have been wanting to try Cafe Rose for some time but the kids have a fear of cats and dogs wandering underneath the tables. Any advice?

Hi Brownie,
The only dog I saw was locked up behind a large gate, it barked a few times but it soon stopped. It wasn't there the second time we went. I don't remember seeing any cats - saying that though I'd had a few efes's.

Fabulous photos, Cafe Rose is another one I have on my list.

Congratulations on your Anniversary.

Can anyone give me directions on PM for Cafe Rose from either Wayside or Ozzys please, as thats about my only landmarks in the old village.

Hi All,
"From the Wayside" carry on going as if walking away from the tansas, turn left at Deja vu and keep going all the way along this road, passed ozzy's towards dry canal. Go across bridge over canal then look for the small roadside/lamppost signs. I think this is what everybody refers to as the old village.

The funny thing was I was expecting "Cafe Rose" to be really busy, as I'd heard so much about it, but both times we were there it was very quiet.

You can walk in but on special nights, which I think were wed & fri, you have to book a table.

Hope you enjoy your holiday, 2 cool efes and frozen glass coming up

Cheers John

(Please check the dates for the special nights as i'm not sure if these days are right.)

The second time we went I had an omelette and it was good - yes I think they do plain foods aswell.

We asked if they had ice cream and Rose said no problem - 10 minutes later her son scretches into the cafe on his pedal bike carrying a tansas bag with ice cream in

If you ask - you will recieve, they'll bend over backwards to make sure you have a good meal/night. :D

Cheers John
