Does anyone know of good Bars and so on that have nice Pools

Postby ola » 27 Aug 2008 15:29

Hi Guys

only 13 days until I am off to Icmeler and i was just wondering, what good bars and things have nice pool areas that the public can use in the day time. i usually stay at the hotel pool but you never know if you are going to be able to get a sun bed.

So this is my back up plan.

I saw a nice one, I think it's called Antik bar, with free pool at the back, it was right next to ICR office, I noticed it when I went to pay my balance for my holiday in May, it get's the sun all day too.
Hope I've got the name right :? I didn't actually use it because we had a nice pool and I couldn't be bothered moving much  but it looked lovely and bar was nice too. Had a breakfast there. Enjoy your holiday :D

We stayed at the palm garden apartments just round the corner from the elvis bar and we had a few people come in there and used the pool they didnt mind as long as you spent some money there. The pool is great with 2 slides, and one hell of a sun trap. Dream friends as a pool as well but very small, but its in the bar.

Yes the Antik bar is the one situated at the side of I.C.R. office and the pool does get the sun all day. As mentioned the bar does do good food and the staff do look after you. Also you can always go and have a chat with Donna and the I.C.R staff.

and I beleive it's owned by Rami's [ICR] brother - Antik that is

I don't know of anywhere other than the Marti who mind people other than guests using their pool - provided like someone's said, you buy food or drinks
the Korsan on the canal have a pool which our kids spent most of last year's holiday at . I think it's the Selen 2 with the slide and castle actually have a sign up inviting you to use their pool if you use their bar

We have always found the Rhodes Apartments pool area very quiet with plenty of sun beds and all day sunshine. They display a visitors welcome notice and they also have a very large pool that is an attraction in itself.

There was some apartments near the Kurt apartments can't remember the name. The something Palace I think. They had a sign outside the bar saying you could use there pool, it looked very nice and the whole week we were there we hardly saw anyone in it when we were walking past. Which is strange as the apartments looked really nice. They have a little bridge over the pool, and also a sprinkler spraying into the water which looks nice for cooling your head down.

behind the junior school and near Deja Vu
we stay next to the Kurt at the Angel but I think the aparts you are talking about is the Sahin Palace - and yes, they've got a bridge over the pool
the food's lovely too - the restaurant is called Toms Place or Mr Toms

in fact, the more I think about it, the more I am sure that it is the Sahin that you have seen - you can see the Pinewood Apartments just up from there

Rami has a brother

I am told that the Antik is nothing to do with Rami or ICR :D

Thats correct fanny, couldn't think of the name. It is the Sahin Palace. I think it looked lovely. Never had food, but there was a board saying you could use the pool, and it always looked so quiet. We had no need to use as there was always beds round our pool. I thought the sprinkler would be really nice to cool your head down, because I have to hold my nose to go under the water  so thought that would be a nice change.
