Thank you everyone for your kind words.

For "full disclosure" I should probably add that I work for Google (though not on the maps team) so it's doubly pleasing for me to see that people are finding it helpful and relatively easy to use.

Cheers,
Paul.

Can only agree - this is brilliant! I've been wondering where some of the restaurants, bars, etc, which others have recommended were situated, and trying to picture it for myself, but now it's all clear! October is going to be very interesting now...

If you click on the marker in the key on the left it re-centres the map and pops up a bubble next to the appropriate marker.

Hope this helps...

- Paul.

P.S. I'll see if there's a way to automatically keep them sorted (I did it manually last night :( )

Hi Paul
What you have done is fantastic to us meer mortals!!!
On a serius note can you see complications developing in regard to space on screen due to all the flags imposed on to the map PLEASE no disrespect [As Im of the big hammer and crowbar brigade] will they eventually block out the whole town or am I being a DUMBO
Best Regards and Thanks

If you zoom in to the maximum they seem to be ok, pinpointing particular buildings. Excellent for us first timers.
