Postby Radish » 02 Jul 2008 17:43

Hi, read previous messages, ***** cancelled our original accommodation and offered us the Alara - doesn't look too bad but does anyone know where it is exactly- think it's been renamed? Going in 10 days so any help greatly appreciated. Only found this site recently and will be booking here in future!!!

Hi, thanks to all for responding. Only 2nd time to Icmeler and I notice you said it was in front of Avlu 4 on main road. Could you tell me where this is in relation to the Bella Mare please. Many thanks, Radish

Hi All, found map on icmeler online website which shows location perfectly. Looks like a fairly quiet area. Thank you all. Now beginning to look forward to stay and will make the most of accommodation - it may even be better than the Bella Mare despite no balcony - must look on positive side!!!

Hi people. I just wondered if anyone has actually stayed in this hotel yet? I'm also looking for a review. I tried searching under the name someone suggested it was previously known as, but still no joy.

Can anyone help please?

Thank you
xx

We saw this hotel when we were in Icmeler beginning of July.It is just across from the Avlu4.We went in just for a walk around and it does look very nice and I must admit all the staff we met were very nice and helpful.Spoke to a few people round the pool who were staying here and they spoke very well of it and even said they would come back.Everywhere was very clean and the pool area was lovely.

Alara

Visited this hotel mid-end July. Having spoken to Manager it was bought by new owner 2 years ago, not open last year as being re-decorated. Looks fine but no real dining area, only tables outside on terrace, rooms quite dark as only small door-like window with no balcony. Dining area shared with bar and small swimming pool. Public area very small with limited seating so if you get fed up with small dark rooms there's only the small terrace to sit on. There are much nicer hotels for the money in Icmeler. It is in a quiet area but as all music volume is turned down at midnight this generally is not a problem with accommodation location.
