Boat Trip Round Gokova Bay

Postby redrhino12 » 28 Jul 2008 18:04

I notice a lot of people enquiring about boat trips.
Everyone seems to do the AI boat trip around Marmaris bay calling at the cave, fish farm and Turunc.
Why not do the Gokova Bay trip by the way of a change.
Leave Icmeler by bus, travelling through Marmaris for about 16 miles before you arrive at Gokova Bay were you join the boat.

Gokova Bay covers the magnifcent scenery of the gulf of Gokova whom Jaques Cousteue rates the pristine condition of the sea and beaches as the finest in Europe.
You pass Cleopatras Island,
Cleopatra Island is simply stunning, white silky sand and clear crystal water, said to be carried from Egypt by Mark Anthony as a token of his love for Cleopatra.

Visit English Harbour were boats off the English Fleet used to hide during the war.
Take photographs of the little mermaid a small sculptor in such a vast sea.
The scenery round this area is stunning so please take your cameras

Gokova Bay trip is £19 per person and lunch is included but the memory and sights will last forever

This boat trip sounds fabulous. Is it an all day trip though? I would prefer to do a half day trip.

hi arinsal

in my experience, most if not all of the boat trips are from 10.00 to 17.00 - apart from the turtle beach one that goes to Dalyan and that is slightly longer
