Always make sure the rep knows I ain't going on the bus, as have been there sitting on the bus waiting for someone to arrive and wouldn't like to do it to others

But after doing the coach transfer 2 years ago, and it taking from landing at airport to getting to accomodation about 5hrs! Done ICR last May and haven't looked back since as in total from landing it's usually about 2hrs to 2½hrs to get to the accomodation big difference.

Are there any toilets on the tour operators coaches, I'm going with first Choice, I've got an habit of piddling a lot when I'm excited

they do a stop enroute, where you can go to the toilets....sorry no idea if they have toilets on board....

we have chosen an ICR transfer, as i just couldnt face being up so early , then a 4 and half hour flight, then another couple of hours at least on a coach

We paid with Paypal and there were no charges. It was very easy as we already had a paypal account due to my excessive E bay buying

Just a thought ? Don't the hotels mind if you turn up early without a rep?

i would hate to do the private transfer thing and then turn up at my hotel to find they are not expecting me!!!

Or i get there and then have to wait for the rep.


Any idea's on how it works.

I alway check with rep at airport that they are expecting us on their list and no last minute change of hotel has been made (this has happened to me before) I let them know we are not getting on their coach and just make our way to hotel.

You should have no problems on arriving at hotel as they are already expecting you.

any other experiences would be greatly received!!

I will speak to my friend tomorrow and see what she thinks. As she hasn't been to Turkey before she may want to do the bus thing, but i am seriously thinking of doing a ICR transfer. i am not relishing the thought of the long transfer at 3 am in the morning.

That was the other thing that worried me, getting toi the hotel earlier than expected and no-one being there to check us in.
