Hi, did the jeep safari last week and it was a brilliant day. We had a young boy on our jeep, probably 5 yrs old. He really enjoyed the first couple of hours but got very tired in the afternoon. I would say 5 is a bit too young for this sort of trip but that is only my opinion.

Your 5 year old will have a fantastic time, make sure he has a water gun (They can be rented if you don't want to buy) and takes an old 5 litre water bottle container full to be used as spare ammunition. We have been on jeep safaris with a 3 year old and they had great time, my youngest was 6 for her first trip, in fact today she asked if we could do at least two jeep safaris in a couple of weeks time.

My only warning would be if you go to the waterfall keep hold of the little ones hand as it can be a bit slippy. plus wear old clothes as you will get quite dirty and wet.

We will be on ours in three weeks time, never go the first week, like to build a bit of a tan first as you are in the sun alot.
