Icmeler and babies??

Postby NATAJACK » 18 Jul 2008 10:09

Hi All,
I was wondering how people managed with babies on holiday in Turkey.

I know how great the people are with kids/babies infact every age group. It’s just I’ve recently found out that I’m pregnant and I’m a bit worried about taking a 5 month old to Icmeler next August with the temperatures being so high.

If anyone else has taken children this young in high season I would be grateful for any tips, info or comments you may have. - Thanks

There was a six month old baby last year in our apartments. Her parents kept her in the shade and bought her a paddling pool, she seemed more than happy and tolerated the heat very well

Congratulations Natajack, agree with everyone else you shouldn't have a problem, keep the little one covered and drinking plenty of fluids and you will be fine.

Icmeler is a fantastic place to holiday with young one's and as she/he grows older she will fall in love with the place like us, I ask my kids (Now 12 and 15) every year where do they want to go on holiday and for the last 7 years it's been the same answer "ICMELER".

We've booked for August next year already so might see you around the resort pushing a pushchair.

Icmeler and babies

Hi Natajack.

Congratulations.

We took our little boy to Icmleler when he was just 6 months old and he was fine. The waiters couldnt do enough for us- taking him for a walk if he was crying while we eating our meals, in fact the waiters had always got him- playing with him, they all love babies. We did a boat trip and teh captain of the boat let him sleep on his bed, and he was asleep most of the day with the rocking of the boat. In the day we just made sure he had loads of sun cream on and kept him under the parasol. He loved it in the pool and in the sea, and he had a brill holiday. To be honest it is much easier at that age as when they start running around you cant relax for a second. Hes 5 now and has been to Icmeler about 15 times- he loves it there. Im sure you will be fine and you will have a great holiday.

Love clare

hmm not so sure about that, it's great to be on hol with kids of any age to spend loads of time with them and them with us - we all much prefer that to kids clubs
as far as taking young babies, am sure you'll be fine Natajack (and congratulations)
the fun will start when you take a toddler ha ha
