hi ive stayed at blue rainbow good value for money.efes inn overpriced a bit daughter and grankids stayed there but tommy cook holidays are like that. laguna very exspensive looks very swish attracts a lot of germans but i,ve never stayed there. i go on 3rd oct from ncl but never had bad reports on mersoy , i use a bar about 200 hundreds yds across the old canal from there called the okimo (jimmys bar) to the right and i think its ok enjoy bill atkinson

Hi
EFES inn is expensive and in need of decoration but staff are very friendly.
My wife and I got married in the grounds there in 2003. Staff were fantastic and have stayed there 4 times.... no problems

Wouldn't stay at Blue Rainbow if you are wanting something special.Never stayed there myself but haven't heard great reviews about them.

The Mersoy one what you are talking about has been renovated.I think it is this 1 i am thinking of.

Hi

We stayed at the Efes Inn, in June this year and it was our first time to Icmeler, we thought the hotel was lovely, the staff are great and we had a newly decorated room on the 5th floor (they have lifts), the cleaners were very good and cleaned every day. The breakfast is typical Turkish which wasn't to our taste but the pool area is lovely and just a minute walk from the beach, overall we thought it was great. 8)

I checked out the Bella Visat Suites about 3 weeks ago and in my opinion are the best accommodations in Icmeler

If I was to pick my favourite Honeymoon Hotel to stay in it would be the Laguna.

I think the Belle Vista Suites look really nice. They look very modern. Are they the new ones that just opened this year? I get confused because there are so many mersoys, but I do remember reading they had opened a new one, and if it's the one I saw they are really nice.

I too was wondering if they are the new ones that opened in May, the side of them is on the road that leads off between Wonderboys and Amigos, we watched them putting the final touches and they looked really nice, the pool area looked brilliant, perhaps reviews for this part haven't come throught yet or refer to the older part.

We stayed at the Marti on our honeymoon and can thoroughly recommend it.

Although service has been mixed on subsequent occasions, that time they really seemed to pull out all the stops.

honeymoon hotel advice

Postby jivebunnie0 » 16 Jul 2008 20:17

If you want something special, I would give the Blue Rainbow a miss... It is clean, but definately needs some money spent on a refurb, as it's looking a bit tired and dated now. We stayed there in May this year, but only as a last minute thing, because our cruise was cancelled and we needed to get away for some R & R.

Not our choice of hotel for August though.

I'm sure ICR can recommend somewhere really nice for your honeymoon.

I am sure the mersoy you are talking is the one on the right hand side as you walk towards captain silver apts, dont get confused with the mersoy directly opposite
they are stunning from what i saw,and the pool area was very nice
eldar who runs the turkish bath at the hotel said the rooms are fantastic, they have lots of suites, very modern.
