Postby welshdoll3 » 11 Jul 2008 16:08

Woo hoo just received my e tickets which is a first time for those but as long as I'm on the plane I don't care how they want to do it. Not long now roll on 29th July from Cardiff Airport

Don't worry. E-tickets work just fine. I know when you get them they don't look much but they work just fine. I remember first time we got them I thought how can this flimsy bit of paper be a ticket.

Picked my e-tickets up on wednesday, just not the same as the proper tickets you used to get, but never mind just as long as they get me there next friday!!!!

I printed mine off, its only one letter so do I need to print it off twice (once for going out and once for coming back) or do you keep it for both ways? Di. :?

I had a bit of a panic when we got to check in at Glasgow airport with our e-tickets, because the girl at the desk didn't have a clue what to do with them. After phoning a supervisor and some lengthy chats with the other check-in desks, she eventually got it all sorted out. Apparently they're not really used to them there yet...
No such problems coming back at Dalaman though.

My sister has just come back from Bodrum with Onur Air. She said the flight was on time out and back but they are very pricey for the drinks, snacks etc so take your own. On par with Dalaman airport apparently. Di.

Roll on Sunday for us from EMA. :D :D

Hi Diane
We printed ours off in May, only needed one copy as both outward and inward tickets are in same letter (this was Thomas Cook). We are doing same in September. Have a great holiday

I have only just paid my extra fuel supplement, I sent them a cheque and and because of this thread included my new email address incase Aegean send an email instead of tickets. Having never flown with them before.

So this thread very useful, I would have been pannicing in 3 and a bit weeks time saying where's the tickets etc.

Thanks guys

Mine arrived today, had to chase them though, because they'd emailed to my old email address which I dont have anymore. Its more of an invoice isnt it than a ticket. Well ours is.

7 working days to go.

not sure Sue, seems a bit hit and miss whether you get snail mail or email tickets
yet another way for operators to save £s I think?!?!?
