Which Bars?

Postby adewolves » 02 Jul 2008 14:07

Ok here goes, this is mine and wifes and kids first time in turkey, going August 7th for 2 weeks staying at the palm garden apartments. Our kids are 10 and 12 both girls, I'm just wondering if all you lovely seasoned pros of icmeler can give me a list of bars we can visit whilst there. Want entertainment and loads of fun, good food, and beer at a good price of course. Also like a good breky in the morning. Reason I'm asking is because I don't want to spend a week looking for good places then we only have a week left to enjoy what we found.

I will write the list down so I won't ask again and thanks to this forum I,m now doing my wife and kids head in I'm so excited.

Hi adewolves.
One of the best nights me and my family had last year was in Dreamboys. Good food, good entertainment, great location by the canal. Your girls will love it and the staff will look after you. We are going from the 4th to the 18th so might see you there.
Happy hols.

The amigo's paradise is not far from palm gardens and a good choice with kids.

Has dancing , pool table , small play area , free internet and PS2 - couldnt want for much more.

Hi Ade

If my geography's right, then you're in the heart of everything at the Palm Gardens.

When you get to the main road, jsut turn right and you'll be spoilt for choice with lively bars and lots of music [til midnight] which your girls will love if they like dancing
also you'll see signs on your side of the road for the waterfall which has rabbits and ducks outside too

keep walking in that direction and turn left at the Galleria [just after Champagne Bar] and all around those blocks are cheaper bars

I won't even try and direct you to the canal, but you can have a great night there too - it's just a bit dearer

I reckon your best bet is to find ICR offices and pick their brains (as well as booking a few trips)

Lastly...........enjoy

A

And dont forget Sugar Buffaloes! We had two girls about the same age with us there last year...and two boys much the same age. They played pool for ages...ate and drank, then the disco and karaoke came out and we had them stood on the bar doing the cha cha slide. They loved it and I doubt you'll ever find anywhere cheaper. And no dirty looks ever from the staff in there.Happy holidays!.....Maybe your hardest bit will be keeping them out of the shops....nightmare!

No they are different places. Dreamboys is at the top of the canal and the 3(4) bells is on the same road as Tansas

oh Ade, just look at what you've started ha ha

seriously though, just before our first visit I made lists of all the recommended places and was determined to visit them
after a couple of days, we'd found our own favourites and are still visiting them 12 visits later

just know that there are SOOOOO many great places to choose from, you can't help but have the best holiday ever - and then you'll have to keep going back again and again and.........
