Hi sirkyboy
We were at the Efes Inn from 12th-26th May, have to agree with you about the food there, and yes we had the leg of lamb, really great wasn't it, I was the bloke pushing the wheelchair around with the blonde wife :D

Tried the fillet steak in the following restaurants: The Venice, Chef, Champagne bar, Majestic, Friends (in the Square), The Angel, The Florida and Charlies. Best steak was at the Florida followed closely by the Champage bar.

Just back and agree that the Holiday is very good - pancakes are lovely! We ate out at several restaurants but our favourite this time was probably the Lemon Tree - the bread is massive! We also had the leg of lamb at the Titanic after bumping into Bill (who used to be at the Florida) and it was superb! You've got to order at least the day before - but it's well worth it, absolutely melted in the mouth.

All this talk of favourite places to eat, TBH I have never had a really bad meal, we like to vary where we go, and never stick to the same place, that way you get to sample the genuine quality on offer in the resort

Tried the florida for the first time this year and it was superb. Had the set meal, turkish bread, soup, one of the best filet steaks i've ever tasted, fruit, coffee and a free drink for 22 lira.
Must also say that we went to the loveboat one night and it was very dissapointing, it was the first time in 25 visits to icmeler that i have actually complained about the meal.

whats your favourite restaurant in icmeler

Postby paul&vernie » 29 Jun 2008 15:06

Hi Andy what was the problem with the food in the loveboat? We eat there all the time and we,re going to stay in the Devamli in september and would appreciate any information as to why it wasnt any good, as it,s normally excellant! We normally eat there alot as we,ve stayed there for the last couple of year,s ,It,s been our favourite restaurant for a while. We,d be gutted if it,s gone down the pan  .It,ll be our nineth time in icmeler and we,d be interested to know if anything else has changed? Thanks Paul & Veronica
