Where is the best Kebab place and where is it

Postby ola » 24 Jun 2008 09:15

Hi

I was just wondering where the best kebab place is in Icmeler and where it is.

I didn't use one last time we were there so have no idea where they are.

Also what is the average price of them.

Ones that are easy to find would be great thanks

You'll see signs everywhere for Kebabs they are about 5/6 YTL. I usually go to Kontes on the Beach Front near CoCo Beach.

best ones I've ever had are next door to tintin resturant and around the corner from buffalo bar, they are 5 lira each and you can have chicken or lamb with chips and salad in them, they are gorgeous, he makes them anyway you want.

best kebab place

Postby ianwesty » 24 Jun 2008 13:06

has to be the stall on the same side as the road as the Florida Restaurant ( in amongst the clothes shops ) He does a really spicy kebap and cheap too! ( also the most traditional with yoghurt sauce etc).
Other one is up near to the primary school ( left at tansas, follow road up ) and next to the old cottage.
Again popular with the locals and cheap too.
Can't wait only 4 1/2 weeks to go!!!

kebabs

Postby fatblokecaver » 26 Jun 2008 18:15

I would agree about the one down the road from the Florida in amongst the clothes shops and next to the barbers.
We called the shop herman the german because the bloke who makes the kebabs looks like the stereotypical german - slightly overweight small 'tash, and slightly blonde hair.
This aside he does make the best - his chilli sauce is reasonable and mixed in with the yoghurt is to die for.
Shame we will not be out there this year - air fares toooooo dear!!!! But I supose we need to have a break after 14 years in Icmeler.
