hi all
has anyone else got kids who wil be waiting for there gcse results when in icmeler my daughter sam will be waiting on hers 21st aug her brother is going to text them to her says she dose'nt want to know

Hi we were going to be there then but our daughter wanted to be at home to get them,so we moved the holiday forward by a week. Its a tense tme for them i realy feel for them,but im sure they will do great . Dawn

My 13yr old son has done one exam this year and we had to move our hol forward so he could be home for the result

ive got my results coming so were going earlier this year

we flew home the day after the results were out for #2 daughter last year
thought she'd have to call into school, but they'd kindly posted them and they were waiting when we got back

so to all of you guys waiting for results this year (and parents), hope they are as good as hers were and make sure you have a great holiday - you'll have earned it

We were sitting at the airport one year when my son was waiting for his results. He was a bag of nerves until he got the text through from his teacher giving him his results and then it was celebrations all the way as he did brilliantly in them.

we are lucky.. originally the results date was 25th and we fly out 22nd. but now the school have said 21st for results ...so daughter will know and hopefully celebrate when we go... fingers crossed for her

My daughters the same, we go on 11th August, think they come out mid august, so her and her friend will have to wait till the 25th.

Unless i give my neighbour the door key and ask them to open the envelope and send us a text.

Wonder why they cant email them to the kids, with technology as it is. the internet cafe in Icmeler would be chocker wouldnt it. Lol.

I didnt volunteer to change my hols though, when we booked last June I forgot all about GCSE results.

cant you ask someone to get them for her my son is getting my daughters all your daughter has to do is give someoone a letter to authorise them to get the results & that person needs proof of identity or could the school not text them to her worth asking 21st aug they come out

My daughter was going to wait but she needs to know for her 6th form entry.
