Fishing spots

Postby Lewis » 22 Jun 2008 09:03

Morning
Now I’m not an expert in fishing but do like to have a dabble whilst on holiday. Any suggestions on good spots to fish which are within walking distance of the town centre.

fishing

I have seen plenty of people (mainly local) fishing in the canal that flows betwen the Efes Inn and the Joy Hotel. They usually sit near to the bridge about 25yds from the beach. They always seem to catch a few. Not sure I would want to eat them though as there is often a small amount of oil/diesel on the water from the small boats. Good Luck

Not being a fisherman I thought the reason why people go fishing is to sit by a riverbank or seashore and well as trying to drown the maggot on the end of the fishing line the fisherman could enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of our towns and cities.
Andre always goes on the new Jetty with one of those spools and a few hooks and baits with bread (not fresh we eat that)
