I didnt have one this year, but last year they were approx 30 - 40 lira. I think it depends on how many people etc, but not 100% sure.

would have to psyche myself up for that Rosie although must say I do fancy giving it a go
problem is when I'm sharing a drink, the kids usually say "99% spit, mum" and that's me gipping for Britain - now that would be a waste

I paid 40 lira last year, that was sharing with one other person, and it was all vodka based.

This June, I found places like the Majestic, Venice, Wonderboys busy, but not until about 9-ish.

The change in prices was something I read on another forum depending on the amount of people drinking it. I suppose they just fill it a little more and add more straws

Just for the entertainment I think Rosie, it definitely is a skill.

I couldnt even climb the tree, never mind with a fishbowl on my head :?

In most places you pick which Cocktail you want in your fishbowl from the cocktail list. They tend to be 4 people, 6 people and 8 people. You can pay anything from 30 lira up to 50 lira. We bought some in friends bar and they were 50 lira, depends on where you go.
Most places you do get a t shirt with each fish bowl bought. Make sure you ask a price before they make it otherwise they can charge whatever they fancy! Happy Fishing! :D

Fishbowl

Postby Trish » 18 Jun 2008 11:15

Linekers also give t shirts away with fishbowls too. They will put whatever you request in them, aswell as suggested cocktails. They looked good when I was there in May, and seemed popular with a lot of people in there. I just don't trust myself with mixtures! and sharing, I get very competitive and drink too fast

Linekers beach bar did childrens cocktails and were very popular, looked very professional, the waiter carries them on his head along the beach to deliver them, such a fun guy. It was lovely watching the childrens faces when they got them.
