Hi All

We eventually got home 1 day late. We got in about 9pm last night. 19 hour delay on the outbound Cardiff flight due to 'Technical Problems', but no hassle really for us. We were well looked after. We were given a meal at the airport then bussed off to Dalaman Park Hotel for the night, free breakfast and lunch the following day, then off to the airport (second time) to come home.

The meeting was really good, and it was great to put faces to names after chatting on here. Madmackems are really mad and Tony, dont forget, I have 2 photographs still to be uploaded - We continued to bump into Steve Crowe after that night and again at the airport, as well as the Madmackems.

I will do a review Mon or Tues when I am on nights.

Nice to be home, and off to catch up with all the threads now between filling the washer and dryer.

Thanks again to everyone who came, ICR staff and Vince and the dancing Waiters for a great night.

good god mary and we were moaning about 8 1/2 hour delay, and it sounds like you got looked after better than most, we were treated to a cheese bun and a cup of coffee and a soft drink each, seems Friday 13th had struck down quite a few planes that night, but not to worry we all got home safe and sound.

Peter and Elaine, thats not very good service you have had from Onur Air, did you complain?

Polly, we were certainly looked after, my only criticism would be lack of information, but I cant blame the reps for that, they were kept in the dark as much as us. The rep looked at the internet in the Hotel and seen the plane had left Cardiff in the morning, it was 1 and a half hours later before she got a call from the Tour Operator to say it had left!

I always feel sorry for the reps - they have to face the customers and yet know less than our folks at home who can check Teletext.

We could not find any one to complain to at the airport as it was pass the buck time, but Elaine will be speaking to the tour operator tomorrow. And just to make matters worse when we got on the plane not so much as a sorry for the delay or any kind of apolagy and thay had the nerve to charge £1-70p for a cup of tea on the plain needless to say that did not go down to well

Oooh thats not very good at all.

I forgot to mention earlier that the captain came and spoke to us, and we all got a complimentary drink.

Hope Elaine gets something sorted out tomorrow.
