Can anyone help with a location please?

Postby Boot » 15 Jun 2008 10:29

Hi Everyone, I'm new to Forums so hope this works OK!
We have booked a villa that is near the Kurt Apartments - are we miles from everywhere???? I believe it is near to the market/school area? One of our party struggles to walk any great distance so if we are a long way from the bars/restaurants/beach, does anyone know if the Dolmus goes near the Kurt aptmts? Thanks - :?:

if you are near the market you are approximately 10 minutes (leisurely) walk. its also all level ground too, so nothing too strenuous.

It's a 10 to 15 minute walk into the main town area, not sure about the Dolmus though but someone will be along soon with more info :D

hi boot i think it was called that, furuze the jeweller took us in his car to have a look it was slightly up the hill it was really loverly but dont worry you will allways get a lift home from the bars and taxi from the square wouldnt cost that much we thought as its self catering we didnt want to be lugging shopping and water up there and as i said i suffer with asthma would probably collapse in the heat

Cassie - thanks for this - do the bars actually give you a lift home then? I can't believe such service !
Does anyone have any tips for getting away from being hassled? We don't want to offend but we get really tired of being asked into every shop and restaurant - it's a shame because we like to browse but our last visit to Marmaris (several years ago,) we found it impossible to look at anything without being pounced on and asked to name a price.

Hey and welcome Boot
if you've an idea of where you want to eat, they'll come and collect you too - just ask your bar lad to give them a ring. also very often, if the bar lad does that, they get a small commission from the restaurant too!
