Hi Avril

if you look on the front of the forum there is a list of excursions you could go on, not seen a bowling alley there.

we went to the market a couple of weeks ago and i bought a lot of clothes there, some people say they prefer the shops round the resort but the tops i bought i could only get them in the market which is on a Wednesday
could not get them round the resort

hope you have a great holiday

The ice rink is at Marmaris Palace hotel but not sure if you can pay to go in.

hi avril

icmeler is perfect for a family holiday. there are so many things you can do and things that will suit everyone!

boat trips for the daytime
although leave this till the latter part of your holiday. dont want to get too much sun at the beginning.
talk of the town
this is a show that is on in marmaris. i would DEFINATELY recommend this. you have a good night of entertainment and your meal and it's suitable for everyone. bit tongue in cheek, but it's good fun!!
market is in icmeler
its mainly shaded and it's entertaining!lol
walking around the old village. sounds boring, but i was really taken in by the natural beauty and simplicity of everything there.
august will be really hot so just be really careful. high factors and plenty of water.

Hi Avril

I'm nearly sure there's a thread about jewellers if you search the home page or use the button at the top of the screen

Sultan jewellers are good, and we've used a few others, but their names escape me

there're lots of jewellers in Icmeler as you've prob guessed, but there are a coupe of roads with lots of them - one's the main road mainly near Pleasure nightclub and the other is off the main suqare with the ATMs leading towards the canal - think it's the road where the LoveBoat restaurant is
am sure you'll find both
have fun exploring!?!
