Hi,

We dont have starters + desserts, but chicken dishes were between 15 + 20 lira. Steak meals varied from about 20 lira upwards depending on where you went. In most places we paid either 3.5 or 4 lira for an efes, cocktails were round about 8 lira. Dont know about prices of other drinks.
Hope this helps

Local drink and mixer about 8/9 lira and imported drinks (Eg Archers) and mixer were 12 lira.

Not sure but think large juice was about 3/4 lira.

Boat trips vary however ICR seem to be best price at £6 with lunch included.

Hi smc

Just back from Icmeler and found the prices on the whole pretty much as they were last year.

Efes averages 3.50 ytl
Spirit (not imported) and mixer, eg vodka and coke or gin and tonic 6 ytl, glass of wine 5 ytl.

Full english breakfast approx 5ytl

Steak dishes anything from 23ytl upwards, chicken dishes 17ytl upwards, pizzas 13ytl upwards. Starters anything from 3ytl upwards.

You can get a lazy day boatrip for £5 - that's the cheapest I saw down on the beach front.

Hope that helps!

The only thing I think the Turks are poor at are cocktails, they're over priced and hardly anything in the glass.

Last year Mother inlaw ordered a 'blow job' and it was a shot/shooter glass (aprox 50ml) mix of alcohol with cream on the top and they charged 8 lira for that  :o

I'll stick with Efes when we're out and buy a bottle of local brandy (and coke) for drinks on the balcony

Prices seem to be very similar to last year, which is good. If only the flight prices were a bit lower as the accomodation prices are fabulous. hoping to go out again in September all things being well

Be cheeky and ask them to make it stronger and they will, we got some last year and it was like juice, told him and he took them away brought them back and they were like rocket fuel, never had to ask again. Not sure where that was now.

If you want a strong cocktail go to Denis Kapizi I got a strawberry dakiri and it was so strong it took me ages to drink it.

I don't like mine strong strong but want them to be worth the money they cost.

LOVE 'Sex on the beach' (the cocktail not the act  ) but none I had in Icmeler were anywhere near as good as we get in the Greek Islands - we only needed one or 2 to knock us out for the night

Shall try again when we go - get there Monday so shall ask for a nice strong one
