Love Boat Restaurant

Postby maria » 10 May 2008 17:48

Hi everyone
We are going back to the devamli in august for our fourth visit and cant wait to eat at the Love Boat as this is our favourite restaurant. We also eat at the Wayside and we really prefer these quieter types of restaurants, can anyone recommend any others in icmeler ? The only other ones we have found have been the dede and i think its called the lemon tree both in marmaris marina.
We was also wondering if Ali is back at the Love Boat?

Hi, we loved the Lighthouse back in September 07, and we tried The Lemon Tree, both in quiet locations and were lovely. The Chef was good, especially the mixed fajita's, gorgeous!.

The Mandalin was very nice too, opposite the Indian restaurant, Taj Mahal, that's also very nice. Maybe not as quiet as you were thinking of , but if you like to eat early, (8ish,) then they're fine. No dancing on bars in these restaurants, but busy bars around them from 9ish. Suits me, because go straight from them to jig around in Linekers!

Yes Hamish it is called the Selam run by a young couple , I beleive she had a baby a 2/3 years ago. Very nice small cozy place & good food.
The last time we ate their it was slightly spoiled by2/3 Scandinavian families who let their kids run wild, they were playing with toys all over the restaurant floor & under tables.
The Moonlight 30yds up the road is good & dont forget the Holiday Restaurant lower down the same quiet road past the Selen Hotel, all are quiet & friendly with good food , a change from the Canal type place.

Is the Selam the one where the owner gives you little puzzles and tricks to solve? x
