Easy Jet

Postby Christabel » 03 Mar 2006 22:58

So pleased to hear that Easyjet are now flying to Istanbul. It's a start and surely it wont be too long now before they fly to Dalaman. I am very keen to visit to Istanbul and would be pleased to hear from anyone who has spent some time there

Christabel

PS Am still taking Turkish lessons but am struggling with the grammar. Looking forward to practising in May.

I doubt very much if anyone will get cheap flights from Easyjet on the Turkish route.

I check them all the time from Liverpool to all destinations and if the destination is a very popular one such as Alicante it is cheaper to book a scheduled flight there.

If the Turkish routes prove popular I can't see cheap flights from them.

Also glad to see that Easyjet are flying to Istanbul. Flights start as of 29th June this year. They will no doubnt be one of their more pricy flights like Athens, Alicante and Ibiza etc as they are not just an hours flight away like most but still good to know eh x

Hi
Are easyjet flights to Istanbul going to be going from all Airports like Liverpool?? because i have only heard they are going from Luton at the moment.

Christabel,i went to Istanbul last February, met up with some friends from Icmeler who showed us round everywhere, would have been so lost without them. Its a lovely place, and bigger than what i had imagined, when we arrived it was thick snow..so had a few pics of the blue mosque surrounded in white snow..gorgeous!

Hiya,

At the moment it is just from Luton (which is handy for me as I live there ha) but hopefully when things pick up and if the flight is popular he will fly from more of the UK airports

Hi Christabel

You will loooooooooooove Istanbul, it's fabulous. Must see places are the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Dolmabahce Palace, Basilica Cistern, Ayia Sophia and the Sultanahmet district. (Take a headscarf to wear when you are visiting the Blue Mosque) If you have time have a trip on the Bosphorous, you get a better view from the water !!
I'm going again on 1st April and I can't wait :D
