Help for a friend please.

Postby Jemini » 06 May 2008 15:12

Hi Icmelarians. I have recieved a text message from my friend whos Sister is staying in Marmaris. Apparently her Sister has flown out to Marmaris without some medication. She needs to take Nitrazapam at night and the chemists have said all they can do is to give her herb suppliments. I have told her to go to see a Dr with her repeat prescription form and shes mentioned this to the hotel staff. They have told her she will need to go to the nearest hospital for tablets like that. I have no idea what to tell her so, i have turned to you experts. Happy hols. Jem xxxxxx

Nitrazepam is only recommended for short term use. The body will become used to nitrazepam within about 3 - 14 days, after which time it will have little effect

You may find she is actually ok without it? Although she is probably best to go to a clinic and see a Doctor over there about it.

Hi, They are only available on prescription so she would need to see a doctor which would cost her, depending on her excess waiver on her insurance. She could go to the Ahu Hetman in Marmaris and ask to see somebody there taking her passport and insurance details.
