Apple Pie Man

Used to see elderly man selling apple pie on the way to beach, just before Efendi Hotel. Always said 'luvly jubbly'. Anyone know what happened to him?

Apple Pie man

Postby fatblokecaver » 01 May 2008 21:48

We noticed he had gone about 2 years ago - from what we were told he has retired and his son has taken over the 'cart'.
We did see him last year at the entrance to the weekly market but only once.
He has been selling pies for years 10 to my knowledge.
Looveley Joobley Apple Pie
Cheese Pie
Chocolate Pie
I think was his trade mark

I think you will find the apple pie man's disapearance, is due to the local Mayor who has stopped all the street sellers, and the shops who used to put all there goods on the pavement's, and the train that used to go up the old village is his, idea of progress. I for one am making June my last visit and we have been going for ten years, Thankyou Mayor of Ichmeler for ruining a little Paradise.
