Money transfer to pay for hotel bills

Postby Not the weakest link » 30 Apr 2008 15:11

Hi does anyone know if there's an easy way of paying money for hotel deposits.

i've got to pay £200 deposit at Vinces we booked it last year and of course didnt have any spare money left at the end of the holiday. he doesnt have a chip and pin machine.

I thought about posting 2 x£100 travllers cheques signing both bits and writing my passport number on the back.

Or the banks do some international transfers but they cost about £20 plus charges I gather.

Is there an easier way.

Vince advertises with ICR so you could pay them via paypal or alternatively wait until you get there I cant see that being a problem with Vince either just phone him

You could use the Moneygram service at the post office, but not sure what they charge these days. It's quick and easy.
