not sure if this fellow has been mentioned before, but he was a very nice elderly man who used to come into most of the bars at some time during the evening, and just join in with the dancing, when you dont see them for some time it makes you worry, blimey I miss him, anybody else remember him.

No, it's not the chap you're thinking off Jemini, he's still going strong (well he was last summer anyway).

I remember the old chap "mustapha" - always very smartly dressed, always smiling. I too heard he died a year or so ago - very sad. We qutie often talk about him when reminiscing about past holidays in Icmeler.

I remember him well, always very smart..looked like a typical english gentleman. We used to see him at a little bar on the front by the canal and I once had a dance with him. I didn't see him after 2004.He certainly had plenty of energy. Not sure if he lived locally or was a visitor to Icmeler

The gentleman i think your tallking about, died about 2 /3 years ago, he use to work in the kitchen in one of the hotels near the |Mirage, and after work use to come into all the bars, and dance with the ladies, always dressed smartly in a suit.

Im sure this id the man your all talking about.

How sad......another character gone.I am sure we have the right man now, I used to see him many times walking passed the Blue Rainbow into town and he walked nearly as fast as he danced !!!!!

thanks for the info,I was just thinking to myself he was missing along with the nut man who was always along the sea front, mind you that could have been 10-12 years ago,and the apple pie man,we used to help him push his barrow across the bridge by the efes inn hotel, anyway what made me think of these lovely people was the feelig I,m getting that people are not too sure about the changes we are seeing in icmeler,I suppose it would be nice to see it all stay the same but we have to realise things do move on,and the lovely people who lok after us in icmeler are earning their living, mistakes will be made but its our intrest they have at heart.(sorry for going on a bit )
