We have had to pay a visit twice to the Pharmacist (by Tansas)the last two year's and the lady in there is excellent.

Last year the hospital in Marmaris, we had to go to. First we were taken to the clinic in Icmeler and then advised to go to the hospital.

My 11 year old daughter had blood coming out of her ear, she had a bad ear infection, they were great. (seemed to be a lot of that last year)

Also my friends son was very ill and ended up on a drip. It was touch and go whether he would be able to fly home.

Thankfully he was fine and was allowed to fly.

I cannot fault the health service out there.

My wife took seriously ill last year with pneomonia and she spent a week in hospital, the Ahu Hetman in Marmaries near the Gima shopping centre

A first class hospital, very clean, decent food and there are staff that speak perfect English

hopefully you will not need to go to the hospital but if you do the facilities are as good if not better than UK

Hi just dont do what I did couple of years ago and pretend one of the kids wasn't feeling well because we didn't like the restaurant we'd gone to, was V expensive and we hadn't taken enough money out with us.

So we changed our minds and just had a drink and they took the huff when we said we weren't going to have a meal, so i thought of an excuse.

They were busy saying we call ambulance for you etc, acting all concerned.

I'm saying yes, yes, because I must have had a deaf and stupid moment and then got booted under the table by hubby and told to shut it.
Then kids and grandma in between hysterics and me arguing with hubby saying what was that for, got the message over of what the waiters were saying. So frantically had to backtrack.

Thats one story that follows me around everytime they see an ambulance in icmeler.

The chemist are very good, we've used them a few times as well.
