Your favourite appartments?

Postby hillbilly » 24 Apr 2008 18:19

Hi all.Caught the Icmeler bug last year so planning to go back. Our appt. was a bit of a walk to the town and beach so I'm hoping for advice on favourites from ICR's list nearer the centre.
Thanks in advance

Hillbilly,
If I was looking for an apartment belonging to ICR that was in or near the centre I would say the Iguana aparts or the Captain Silver aparts.

There's just the two of us. All we want is an appt with a decent balcony to chill and read, a nice pool, a bedroom big enough to shut the door and get into the wardrobe without having to move the beds around, air con ( I expect to pay extra for it) and a short walk into town. That's it really

Hi

I stayed in Demircioglu Apartments last year for the first time. The bedrooms are a decent size and the balconies are all at the front, so some lovely views onto the mountains, or to people watch.

It was only a few minutes walk to the beach, canal, and all restaurants, bars and shops are around these apartments.

I have booked to go back to them again this year.

Have to agree with Reesy Dermicioglu apartments are good we stayed there last May, my brother and his girlfriend stayed there last September and I am off there again in 2 weeks and looking forward to it.

It's close to bars and restaurants, 5/10min walk to the canal area, nice to people watch from the balcony with a light refreshment

i would say the capt.silver is excellent for two of you,its very peaceful and the grounds are lovely, the balcony overlooking the pool and the mountains are not massive but relaxing for a drink.the one bedroom apartments are big enough and the air con is included in the price.
we have stayed three times so far and are going back again in july.
its about 5 minutes to the beach and 1 or two minutes to the road that has wonder boys and oscars/waterfall on it. approx 10 minutes to the canal slow walk.

after enduring two weeks of torture in apartments in old village last year (no name mentioned, and not on I.C.R. list fortunately) I am looking forward to staying for 16 nights at the Iguana apartments . For once I know that by all reports and recommendations that I will have peace of mind in staying there, and we are all looking forward to our holiday in July. Also many thanx to all at I.C.R for making everything so easy.

Thanks to all of you. The appt. I stayed in last year wasn't on the ICR list.
It was OK'ish but lots of niggles as you may have gathered. Off to ICR now to check availibilities.

Thanks ever so much for all the nice things you have said about ICR.
why not make this topic an opportunity for us to find out which apartments you fancy and would like us to have in our books in the future.

Please PM us if you have a name for us.

Thank you.

By the way,

I think Mete Apartments and GreenMar (newly added) are other good options near the centre as well...

I have stayed at The Mete, lovely little place with 9 apartments, nice pool and bar seating area to relax.

The apartments are a good size, well equiped kitchens, and from what I remember the safety box was in your apartment.

Iguana apartments, lovely pool which gets the sun all day long.

Right in the centre.

All mod cons including a washing machine.
Great balcony as well, you can sit out and watch Icmeler.
Enjoy wherever you go.
