Erdem Cafe do a belting Kebab at Lunch time (Not sure if they are open on a night though)

The Kebab Man on the beach front used to be the best, but he seems to have dissapeared now, last time I saw him was summer 05.

Also very very nice Doner Plates can be found in Marmaris, just near to Bar Street, there are two cafes on opposite corners of a little side street, and the Chicken and Lamb Kebabs plates are worth the water taxi ride we do every year.

Finally I can remember if it is Mudurnu Chicken Or Gobaci Chicken (about halfway down the Main Road, opposite Titanic do belting take away kebabs.

As you can tell, I like my kebabs, hehe.

Hi Womble

Erdem Cafe is down on the beach front - take the main road which goes from the old Harrys Restaurant straight down to the beach (past the Mandalin) and bear left. It's just a couple of doors up.

Great place for a quick lunch in the shade or evening meal! Been visiting the Erdem for years, service is quick and food is very good value for money.

We found a great Kebab place last year, and went there nearly every lunch time. Think it was called "Tasty Spot" and was somewhere across the road from the Champagne Bar - I think.

Whenever I want a kebab after a night of drinking I ask one of the lads in whichever bar I am in and they will order me one by phone and have it delivered to the bar lol!!

Sue,
Do you mean the kebab place next to the barbers, that is run by a rather large bloke. If so we love em as well, so do the kids suprisingly. We call the place Herman the Germans kebabs because the bloke that makes them up looks a bit like the stereotypical overweight small tashed german person (no offence hopefully).

Kebabs

Postby Trish » 24 Apr 2008 07:19

Hi Sue, Ive just joined the forum after visiting Icmeler and this site for a few years, and saw you question on kebabs. Try ozlems, few doors down from Linekers, and Goran, which is in a side street opposite Mary's potatoes I think.
They're both lovely.
Im a bit concerned that the first topic I have any useful information on is FOOD! though.
Big Hello to everybody on the forum.
I'll be there in 3 weeks, for a 9 day stint, and September for 10 days.
