Got back from Icmeler on Monday and missing it like crazy
This year we tried some different places to eat, the best that we found were Meyzen in the road opposite the square heading towards the old village, the food was excellent and the decor was impressive, very nice friendly staff too. The Welcome was very good too, we had something from their Turkish selection, beautiful. The Lighthouse we have seen many times but realised that we had not been in there to eat, I hate liver but my husband ordered it and I tried it, wow it was great so sweet and tender, and I had some of the best calimari that I have ever had. Ozzy's near the old village was also another find this year, very good and again lovely staff. We know Claire & Ali who own Alisa apartments and went there a few times for breakfast, very good and she has proper english sausages if you want them. Of course most of our time was spent as usual in Okimo's, great food, best prices and good company, longing to see Jimmy & Ozlen next year.

hi Kate,we just got back on friday night,we spent 99% of our time at the venice,as many other people do too.We have lots of friends there,so that is a big attraction to us,but even as a first timer, you will love it there.
Watch out for the fantastic bottle juggler and even better Michael Jackson dancer.not forgetting Hamish and tiger dancing on the bar
the food is fab too, especially the chinese.

Hiya Kate

End of Octuber tings start to calm down. Venice is great for food entainment and drinking. However if you are looking for more of a clubbing scene you mite wana try bar street or the beach club in marmaris. Taxi's are usally bout 20 lira, but make sure you barter that price as its the end of the season. All clubs are free to get in but you may find the drinks are abit pricey.

Hope you have a good time.
