Confirmation

Have just spoken to XLAir again and they confirm that all short haul Flights are having there baggage allowance cut from 20kg to 15kg as of 5th May and this is for all bookings wether booked last year or not ,you can pay £15 to have the extra 5kgs each way, they have told me that when you sign the confirmation invoice or pay your deposit you agree to this,I have also had an answer from ABTA and this is a copy of there answer.

According to their website, a change of baggage allowance is not one that they consider significant. Usually the contract is for them to provide a seat on a plane but the baggage allowance does not form part of the contract.

We trust that the above has answered your query.

Heres FLYTHOMASCOOK info:
hope it helps fellow inmates ICR 8)
Allowance is 15kg unless you have paid for an allowance of 20kg at time of booking (see baggage icons displayed on your tickets on page 2). Excess baggage will incur additional charges. No baggage that is 30kg or over will be accepted. Hand baggage must not exceed 5 kg
HOPE THIS POST IS ACCEPTABLE

Maybe all Tour Operators are different or do you think this will be standard with them all this year (15kgs )? I think I'll get them to confirm my allowance by email, print it off and take it to the Airport.
