Postby geovil » 19 Feb 2008 12:06

I don't know if there are left luggage lockers but if there are you could get the bus or train into manchester city centre for a couple of hours it is only about 15 mins away.

we were booked to fly with Onur Air from Glasgow on the 28th June and got a letter changing to XL. The baggage allowance with Onur Air is 20kg, just looked at the XL allowance and its 15kg, this is going to cause alot of overweight charges! This was not pointed out on the letter, hope it is clear when the tickets arrive. There is 5 of us going and we were going to take 4 suitcases, not now it will be 5!

Jejo, thats the same flight that we're on departing 7th June and its been changed again, its now with British Midland (BMI). If you look at Aegean Flights website and go into your booking you'll see the flight code is now BD7469 which departs at 19.40.

thanks Dotty we didn't know the airline and times had been changed again. i phoned Aegean and they said a letter had been sent out on the 4th feb but we didn't get it. She asked for my email address and said she would send the details as I could not get them on the site, but I still haven't received them. Could you please let me know the new flight times as I have to re-rearrange out transport to the airport. Thanks again.

Never used BMI before either, but according to their website there is inflight entertainment. And yes 14 weeks on Saturday and counting!

It seems loads of flights are changing.
I've just discovererd on browsing flights for a friend, that my Monday Thomas Cook flights out of Bristol have changed, thankfully leaving an hour later both ways so at least I'll get an extra hour in Icmeler!
Also can't believe how much the flights have gone up since I booked before Christmas.

I read on the net yesterday that our flights from Birmingham to Dalaman on the 5th April have been cancelled along with all Birmingham flights up to the 26th April with Aegean Flights all to Dalaman.
So I rang Aegean they said a letter is in the post offering me some options.
Snotty bird on the other end of the line has no idea of the trouble her company creates by pulling flights and the worry they put thier customers through.

If it wasnt for the cheapness of the flights I would tell them were to stick the bookings.
So I will bite my lip and wait for the arrival of the letter with my options.

Booked a package out of Newcastle for August and the flights have also changed. Due to the timings we are now kind of losing 1 days holiday.
