its so a promise that this idea will be implemented this year :)

Maybe its a good idea to start a poll on this to find out how many interested and what size we should order the most and stuff...Mods, Admin??? What do you think?

Womble I am not having a go at you here mate but I will defend Erik in this instance.

I know you have only just joined our family here and maybe are not up on forums as such but I will give you a few little pointers.

The smiley faces next to the statement that Erik made tells you it was a joke and the other line tells you he came up with the same thought last year and had a wink next to it.

Once you see something like that go look back through the pages till you find his topic and read what happened to his idea and you will see why I said if people pay up front as I for one definitely don't want a box full of t shirts lying around the office and Rami wont like it either.

I have just got myself a Mitsubishi Shogun and joined a forum dealing with them and I have read it cover to cover before I asked the questions I wanted to get answers to because I know that, that isthe thing to do but then I have many years experience on forums.

Hopefully you now understand a little more about forum "speak" and will use this forum to its full.

You can also use the search facility at the top of the page and type in keywords

Dont worry WOMBLE - I will make sure to get a few t-shirts to say WANTED! with pictures of Erik and Admin (John) on them and you can buy those to help the Orphanage. ;)

John must be stressed looking at Mitsubishi forums esspecially if most of them are in Japanese. :) :)

Welcome to our network! :)

Hi all Icmelerites,
Maybe I am also having a senior moment, but last year when the Tee shirt topic came up it was mainly as a way of identifying other Icmelerites whilst on holiday, eventually I thought the consensus was to have a badge, as this would be cheaper & easier. I seem to remember that Gene was very concearned that the tee shirt might clash with his skirt & slingbacks :   . Perhaps we should all give our opinions as to what we actually want. Sorry for going on a bit

My thoughts here.

I wouldn't be seen wearing a T shirt around Icmeler, sorry ICR I love you guys and gals to bits but I BUY clothes to go on holiday to wear lol plus some randomer might stop me in the street and think I am staf there and ask me questions  In fact NOPE don't like the T Shirt idea is could be bad for the company, a competitor might get there hands on them and do a lot of company damage.

Ok here are a few ideas I do like

Wristbands HT have them on the go and there really popular.

Badges yeah don't mind wearing one of them, thye could say ICR supports the orphanage with that sun logo you have in the background.

Luggage Labels, again easy to make and same idea about the orphange, I always look around the carousel to see if there are any I recognise.

Keyrings Again cheap and easy to make and a souvenier to bring home knowing you have done good over there

Give me time for a cuppa and I might have a few more ideas, but surely there are only 2 main objectives here.

1) So ICR members can see each other and say hiya

2) Maybe more importantly to suport the orphange

:D No shouting at my comments :D

A lot of good sugestions there Col.
Wristbands sounds like a good idea.
I had an HT T shirt and used to take it everytime I went on holiday, only time I met another wearer was at the meetings and parties held by HT and ICR a few years ago.
Badges pinned to my designer Tshirt I think not.
Luggage labels ok for the airport but I hardly ever carry my case around the resort in the evening.
Key rings are a good idea but the only time you would see these is when we all throw our keys on the table at the end of an evening

Did I say wristbands was a good idea Col.

Hi All

Could ICR not do what other travell companies do and add £1.00 PER person to all bookings and send that to the kids at the end of the season But also put an opted out opition so people donot have to donate if they dont want to
I think we could raise a good amount for the kids doing it this way

I also do like the idea of wrist bands. Serves both purposes but I am not sure if everyone looks at each other's wrists :) and there is also another problem with that since all inclusive hotel customers have to wear those bands...BUT this would most of the time work for the benefit of male forum members as it would make it much easier to approach to Russian ladies even in front of their own ladies ;) - (Hello there, whats your nick name on the ICR forum? and the poor Russian girl standing there with blank face) hehehe

Rami

PS: I am interested in all ideas and will do what ever YOU decide is the best. Cheers

Hi Rami How about an Efes sticky attached to all our foreheads!! He He only joking   No seriously ( and John will love this one ) Combine our recognising one another and Colette's Save Icmeler Cats onto a wristband. The colour could be plain with a picture of a cat incorporated. Then hopefully this could be instant recognition for one another and serve the second purpose of people (non members ) being curious about the unusual design and give us the oppurtunity to tell them about the plight of the Icmeler cats. :P

just out of interest, where would one go to find these Russian girls Rami mentions? I keep hearing about them when in Icmeler but have never actually bumped into any. Curious to learn of their customs...and things
