Postby Sue Pryer » 05 Jan 2008 23:11

Hi I'm new to the forum so hello everyone. Have been following as much as I can as a guest as I too am suffering Icmeler withdrawal symptoms over the winter months. All your photo's are great. Hope to post some of my own if I can master it later, to share with you all. :D

Hi Sue - and welcome to the forum. I'm sure like me you enjoy reading all the news and viewing the super photos. I wish I knew how to post photos cos I took some really great shots on the two holidays we had in Icmeler last year. Hi also to Collette - can you give us a clue what the Icmeler Street Cats all about?

Heya

It's an idea I have for a website to help the street cats and dogs in Icmeler, well really to help promote the people who do such a good job in neutering them and getting them off the street.

I will be asking for nothing apart from maybe a signature on petitions etc and promoting Street Cat Awareness, if your not animal lovers or likers I won't take offence lol

Sorry for hijacking your thread Sue

Thanks Colette - anything to relieve suffering and promoting wellbeing of children or animals has my full support as I'm sure everyone on the forum would agree. Just let us know how we can help. Maybe a new thread??

:) :) Hi Colette,Gene,Frankiel & LynnJenny-What a lovely warm glow you all gave me welcoming me to the forum, so thanks for that. Have only been visiting since 2004 Gene but I'm sure there will be lots I can share. As for the photo's, Frankiel and LynnJenny perhaps we can all give it a go soon when we feel a bit braver! No probs hi-jacking the thread Colette I love animals and a friend of mine, who lives in Turkey actually took me to the dog pound in Marmaris (I think it was Marmaris) and I wanted to bring them all home!!! She always has a houseful of them and strives to find them good homes. She always has dog food in the car too and is frequently stopping on the roads to feed them. Any help we can give is better than none eh?

Hi Gene Thanks for that and great photo. I will be sure to visit in May and will have no trouble recognising it due to photo. Maybe this time I will meet a few of the forum members. That would be cool 8)

Hi Dee How lovely that you live in our favourite place on earth nearly all the time! March probably can't come quick enough for you. Looking at the weather forecasts for this Winter though the rainfall seems to have been trying to catch us up in dear old blighty!!
