Icmeler DVD

Postby JT » 28 Dec 2007 18:55

Ok this is for all the people who know that they were filmed with us all this year as in the gang which also includes Genes daughter and boyfriend etc.

I have now started to look at making the DVD that I promised everyone and just the begining with **** phil drunk on the plane (in fact I think we must have been delayed as we all looked wasted) is worth it.

I don't know if this will go on one, two or three discs as I haven't got that far but whatever it goes on I will be selling this.

If anyone knows what its like to edit, join and put music to a movie then you will know how much work is involved but I think that this will be worth it.

We have clips of days out as in Hidden Lake, Breakfast Mornings, Akyaka, views from the top of the mountains above Akyaka, views from above Icmeler and out to the bay of Marmaris, lots of bars (I think) boat trips, Pirate boat trips, Donnas birthday  and lots more.

There will of course be a charge for this DVD and it will be made on quality discs so it will last and if anyone wants this it will cost £10 and ALL the proceeds will be going direct to the orphanage in Mugla.

We will be arranging a trip to the orphanage in May and ANYONE and EVERYONE is welcome to come with us and bring anything they would like to help out.

Please let me know on here if interested in buying this once in a lifetime DVD ( I reckon I could get more money from certain people by blackmailing them)

Besides the people who are on the DVD don't forget this would be useful to anyone to be able to see a little sunshine through the winter.

We will be arranging trips out to Mugla so people can see what its like away from the resorts and then that will incorporate the visit to the orphanage

John, if you get an avi to xvid converter, that will make it much smaller, typically 700 to 800 meg. Then you can use your normal dvd author to get it to 4 gig.

Just haha just got to add Donna's bits then add the music and the text and so on and its ready.

I am in a bit of a struggle here as there is the odd swear word here and there but the main one is at the very start of the video from the one and only Chubs but if I take it out it wont sound righ so you will be getting the dvd with an adult content warning on it namely Donn's bits

i didnt even know tha there was an orphanage there. i had wondered where they were in turkey, but i didnt realise there was one so close. i watched a program on orphanages in bulgaria and i was devastated, spent the hour crying and i would love to feel that i could be helping somewhere.

i will definately buy the dvd, thank you very much.

i would also like some information on how to help the orphanage and what sort of things they actually need.

John,

What sort of things could we bring for the orphanage?

Just at a loss as to what they wont have, or is it just money they need?

Not booked nothing yet, waiting for the all clear from the hospital, then its straight to ICR.......Vince, we are coming back.

Hi Mary, at the moment we are working on toys and clothes for all ages, and all of the proceeds from the DVDs, etc will also be given to them. Even toiletries that are left over from your holiday are much appreciated

See you again soon.

I am having a few problems with Donna's bits  at the moment.

I think I will just add the clean bits (about 3 seconds to the video) and make a new one for Donna.

Weird the way that certain person is bouncing around on the dance floor with a Dutch woman without a walking stick in sight when I had to get a Dolmus to take him to Zaza,s.
