Hi All

We have a barbers near us in Haydock who is the brother in law of the guy who owns Romance

When we where in Icmeler in Aug he told us about it and said to try it as they do all the face packs and shaves the way they do in Icmeler

Might try it before Christmas and get spruced up a bit

Hi everyone how are you all ... fab to do this Colette only just found it
So where were we ..oh yeah Butlins which seems such a long time ago. It was really good fun as usual, all dressed up as little school boys   drank lots, and danced soo much our balls throbbed for hours    you girls know the feeling ey?

Ive just come back from 2 days in London with friends went to Covent garden for lunch before getting on yet another tube and climbing 4000 stairs as i dont do lifts  popped to Leicester square got dragged on the bumper cars (say no more!) then to Trafalgar square was so pretty with the huge Xmas tree and joined in a coupla carols felt very Christmassy!
Then walked to Somerset House looking at the sites along the way before pulling on the iceskates ...yes iceskates and attempting to skate for an hour  fabulous experience and truly magical as it was all lit up. I managed to stand during the whole hour but that was probably due to the fact i hardly let go of the rail and my knuckles hurt too    but was proud of my attempt if only for skating a few feet at a time. We were able to go into a little practice area where you could skate with a penguin (not a real one colette) was hilarious to say the least  :D
Then it was skates off another 4000 steps and tubes to the Youth Hostel where we were staying ( very cheap to stay) the bar stayed open till 4am and the drinks were cheap so we boogied till early hours.
Had another look around Covent Garden before catching train home. What a fabulous coupla days, could highly recommend it :D

Im quite prepared for Christmas only bits to get, but cant wait to book a holiday back to heaven i dont do winter!!!!
Hope you are all well ..love this post colette great idea :D

:D 9 sleeps to Christmas

Yesterday we put on a Christmas party for the elderly and learning disabilities people that come to our community centre.
Even though I was working from 8am to 8pm I thorougly enjoyed myself as did everyone else.
We cooked a 3 course meal for them, free bingo & raffles and had a singer performing.
I also did a couple of songs on the kareoke

Now I have 3 days hols and I am going shopping with my daughter tomorrow and for a meal. We don't have much quality time together as I am always at work and she has 2 children & is pregnant with her third, so I am really looking forward to it.

Steve, we also live in Haydock quite near to Izzy the barber. My son and grandson go there regularly and wouldn't go anywhere else.
We will be staying near the Romance restaurant next September so might call in.

Colette you are welcome to come to my house for Xmas dinner and we have lots of wine, in fact we have more alcohol than I have ever seen in one place this year as Asda mad a mistake on their pricing a few weeks ago and it would have been criminal to let them get away with it

We went out last night and only got in at 4am so I'm feeling a little fragile even now.

Had to go and do food shopping this morning it was packed!

My grandchildren come tomorrow and we have a buffet and a few games, don't think I can face any alcohol though

I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas and a peaceful and happy New Year x

I'm off into work tomorrow morning but only till noon, then we are off to our son's pub for Christmas.

Christmas dinner is being served in the pub, so it will be like Eastenders :) Just hope we don't have any of the dramas like they do in 'Stenders!!!!

Merry Christmas everyone X
