Winter Chat Thread

Postby Colette » 01 Dec 2007 19:48

Shhhh while Admin is away lets play

I nicked the idea from Holiday Truths

We can chat about things over the winter and get to know each other better ( sounds very cosy)

Like ermmm Paulines weekend for the girls at Butlins, how did it go?

Lets test this out see how we go over the winter, give us all something to do

We can chat about anything over the winter in here, keeps the forum free for Icmeler conversations.

Same rules apply: no text language :D no abuse to other members :D

Hi, Bill here, after a hectic year which involved two weddings (one in Icmeler and one in Gretna) and two holidays in Icmeler, I'm now working hard to fund next years trip to our favourite place on earth. Actually Nancies favourite place on earth may be the Metrocentre but enough said about that. :D

Hi this is Clare, I am nearly done with the Christmas shopping, it has been a nightmare trying to get a Nintendo Wii for the kids but got one in the end.

We are now looking forward to our New Years Eve party it is fancy dress my hubby is going as only guy in the village from Little Britain that should be funny, my little girl is going as Miss Piggy and my son as Zorro, not sure what I am going as, cannot wait. Is anyone else having fancy dress for New Year?

Hi All

Julie here, all pressie shopping done (thank god) but not packed. You are very lucky Clare going to fancy dress, nothing planned for me this year as hubby is working 12hr nights New Years Eve and New Years Day (bit of a bummer) so night in front of the tv for me and my son.

As my young daughter tells everyone Mummy's a nurse who works for pennies for Turkey.
We also have a touring caravan Colette ours isn't on a site though and we don't use it now as much as we should.Weather is never that great over this part of the world.Mind you many a great holiday we had in it till we dicovered the delights of Icmeler and many a fall out with hubby as we struggled to put the awning up in gale force winds with 3 hungry and bored kids crying in the car.

Hi everyone, from a very wet and miserable Essex Coast.

Most of my Christmas pressies now bought, cards written and ready to
post and also 2 dozen mince pies made

Just the Christmas tree and decs this weekend, and it's Christmas, here we come. I just love Christmas, apart from all the expense - both son's birthdays also this month. (Good Planning I know!)

Who's arranging the Carol singing???
