I got mine working today on vista, BUT to get it working I had to turn off User Account Control from the control panel.

At present I wouldn't recomend this being done as it may compromise the security of your Vista comp.

I'm still running some more testings yet to see if there is another way of getting it to work.

I think it may be a flaw in the vista system and may need a patch from Microsoft and will be emailing the details to them this coming week.

I will post how I did it if anyone wants to try it, but it really is at your own doing?

:D

Surely not
What we need is a new Windows OS (other OS's are available  ) that cleans lenses

Lets hope when Vienna comes out it was programmed by a different person at Microsoft.

The webcam could do with a windscreen wiper on it :D

How do you get a user account to view the webcam?

Hi Mary.
You must have clicked on the link when the camera was offline. That link is for admin. You don't need an account to view it, when it's online it will just start up on its own.

I managed to get into the camera today. Unfortunately it was a still from a nighttime, either that or there is a very fierce storm in Icmeler :?

Thank you,Thank you to the person who has given the webcam lense a wipe.
My days have again taken on a new meaning.
No longer do I need just to lay in bed.
The cam is alive again with crisp clear pictures.
Joy of Joys,
Now I will be able to witness the birth of this new complex.

cheers Dave
I'd seen those shots but couldn't beleive the mound of rubble that was left behind - thought it may have been a problem with the webcam lens
just checked it out again and it seems much smaller
doesn't it look different
