We not long back from there and as was posted above they are next to reception and they £10 a week. Also the last I heard these apartments were up for sale so there may be new owners by the time you go. Things should be quieter without the big loud german owner

The problem (its not a problem to me) with Mrs Silver is she is very houseproud and does not like her home as she sees it being run over by unruly and sometimes very loud and boisterous kids.

We have all been somewhere in the world and bumped into the family from hell and I think there is even a TV series about them now

She does not like some parents getting a few drinks down their neck and then just ignoring the kids and letting them run wild so then she does kisk off.

I don't know anyone who has stayed there that has done this so I am not pointing fingers but I have heard from some of our guests about this typw of thing happening.

We've stayed at the captain silver 4 times and all i meant by 'scary' was 'a force to be reckoned with'. Her family are lovely hospitable people who cant do enough for you, thats why we keep going. Ive lain on a sunlounger many a time a found great amusement at her whipping them all into shape.

On my pick up on the way home we picked up some people who was staying there, they had never been to Icmeler before, I asked them what they thought of The Captain Silver ( as I'm so nosey) and they said they loved it and wished they'd had 2 weeks there.

Friends of mine Dave and Helen also stay there and they love it :D

Can't give you my opinion as I have never stayed there.......... YET
