Hi Bec

Great photos.

From one of your photos, I take it that Marios is somewhere across from the Munamar, am I right ? and is it worth a visit ?

I've got to add that I had the best and most amazing Spaghetti Bolognese I have ever had, in Marios in September!

And the roof top terrace rocks!!! 8)

5 of us ate in Marios on the rooftop terrace a few weeks ago including myself and Rami.

We asked for certain drinks which were in the list but they did not have stocked

I asked for fish soup and they had none and others asked for different starters and had none.

Rami opted for the safe bet of calamari but the batter was awful so spoiled the starter.

Vicki's Pene was cold when it arrived as was the bolognese I had so would not bother again as it wasn't as if it was full which would not have been a worthy enough excuse anyway.

We also had a "duff" meal there last year - I ordered seafood risotto, and the mussels came up closed so I couldn't eat them, or rather wouldn't attempt to eat them....... Perhaps that's the source of the tummy bug that was going around? :

Tried it again this year, as the friends we were with wanted to go there - food was better, but still not brilliant. (Sorry bec - I understand your friend owns it? ) Calamari was very tough, and risotto not very nice although it wasnt me who had it that night!
