Airport Transfers

Hiya,

We're flying with freebird airlines on Monday and haven't booked through ICR (sorry-didn't know you existed till I'd booked my hols) and I was wondering will there be a rep to point us in the right direction for our transfer to the resort and our hotel?

When you come out of the airport there will someone waiting for you and take you to your transport.

Hi Gill,

Dimrie seems sure of the answer. The standard answer is yes if you've booked everything or got a package. Have you booked flights and accommodation separate or have you booked a package with this company? If you're not sure I'd give them a ring or check the small print on your bookings. I have no experience of this company. You could find a number of scenarios -
a) a rep with a uniform waiting for everyone who's booked with them
b) you might have to go to the small stalls, look for the company name and then be informed of your transfer - which may or may not be someone to do with the company
c) there might be a taxi waiting for you - look for the cards with people's names on

My advice is check this out, if you haven't got transfers, call ICR now.

i have my transfers separate for some strange reason and im worried sick incase something goes wrong im going on 6th oct

If you've got flights, transfers and accommodation you're OK. Some companies don't include transfers - you may find you had to add them to your booking. It's not unusual to have a voucher - this is just booking and paying for them upfront. It's also not unusual with smaller companies not to have the facilities that larger companies have - ie a contract with a coach company for transfers.

If in doubt with any part of a booking - read the small print for the relevant query and if you don't find the answer, contact them. Good luck and enjoy.

Thanks for all your replies. I did book a package holiday but for some strange reason the transfer is not mentioned on our paperwork. K&S specialise in Turkish holidays and on the paperwork it states that the Local Travel Agent is Acme Travel, Marmaris. I assume these will be waiting for us when we get there.

Sounds right to expect Acme to pick you up. Find the phone number just in case but I'm sure it'll be all OK.
