Every time we have been to greece we have been able to hire out a Quad bike for the week to get us about. Can you hire them out in Turkey

You can also do Quad Bike Safari...never tried it myself though

Sorry to butt in, but can you hire scooters in Icmeler as well? And how safe is it, we hired them in Corfu a few years back and they made the holiday.

yes you can also same taxi rank outside Loveboat end of Canal in Icmeler

I personally wouldn't take to the roads of my own accord as they all seem crazy on the roads. I saw on Turkish family on a scooter. Dad driving, kid holding on each foot well and mum holding a baby - just stupid but that's the way things are over there. No one seems to indicate and they just pull out in front of each other and i don't think they know what pedestrian crossings are for :evil:

There was a bad one in May when i was there-just by Marios,just before Dkapisi.
Was an English girl on a moped,her last day too...my friend Mandy who owns Marios is a nurse and tried helping the girl...but she died.
